Hi, I'm testing WFlow, but I receive this message:

I was wondering when the first people would start complaining.
This one is at least easy. You should have read the readme. Currently MantiumWFlow only reads ascii stl files.
The readme even tells you that the error when working with binary stl files is useless.

Thanks!

Honestly I have no reason to complain, but only requests for help! the software is great.

Well, maybe complain was not the right word, but either people were not using the software or there are no bugs. Which one is more likely?
I have found one by the way. It only affects Windows users. I wonder who will be next to find it.

I still have problems with the solutor (but they are probably related to my workstation, full of traces of previous OF and VirtualBox installations), but I appreciate the software. A bit more difficult to use than OCCFD, but more customizable. The geometry check is very complete and useful.

By the way (and OT): it would be perfect for a project of mine, coupled with a CAD environement.

I could not find the bug you were talking about: the only issue was the strange format of the readme.txt file (es. no separation between paragraphs and lines). I am going to re structure it and I will post a pdf next week.

Under the nice MantiumWFlow ascii art you find an email address. Please send me your logs so I can find out what is going wrong. It is the first time people apart from me start using the software.
The bug I was talking about is related to the post processing tool. On windows there is a strange bug that did not appear on my computer when using wine. I will send out an update soon. It is nothing big.

Please try a different text editor first (I am assuming you are using wordpad). Notepad++ is one of the few great pieces of software I know for Windows.

A question: it is confirmed that the first race will give points? How many points will be assigned by each race?

Why are you soo salty about the cooling dude? Race cars needs cooling, and the competition is about race cars.

Close all the OpenFOAM related windows and check in Oracle VM VirtualBox if the default machine is running. If yes, turn it off and try starting OpenFOAM again.

Did you get any errors from OF_Env_Create?
