Yeah, SAT is a sad team to be on. It has no hope of winning. No matter how good the car could get, they will always have the anchor of being stuck with the 2 worst drivers under RBR contract. In the rare occasions that RBR have 4 ok drivers, they get stuck with having to deal with a young driver being demoted. Not an easy place to be.
Alpine (Viry France) is 5k from the swiss boarder. Literally a 5 minute drive from Geneva. If that makes a difference.FW17 wrote: ↑21 Dec 2022, 07:47Where will Mattia end up if he stay in F1?
Audi Sauber - He is Swiss born so not a stranger to Switzerland. With the team in build up stage for the 2026 season, he can rebuild the technical team over the next few years away from the spotlight. Not sure he would be offered the dual position of TD and TP, but anyway he should be a good fit there.
Alphatauri - May be a strange decision if it happens, but he gets to stay in Italy. Red Bull will benefit a lot in getting Alphatauri more competitive which has slagged off for the last few years under Franz Tost . Now with the budget cap, this team with access to Red Bull Racing parts could get to the top of midfield with little more focus on the technical leadership. Alphatauri is also a small enough team where he can have both the TD and TP role. If Honda comes in 2026 Alphatauri could be good fit with Mattia at the helm.

My bad, thanks for the correction. I hadn't realised Viry and Viry-Chattilon were 2 different places.Wouter wrote: ↑25 Dec 2022, 17:25.diffuser wrote: ↑25 Dec 2022, 17:12.FW17 wrote: ↑21 Dec 2022, 07:47Where will Mattia end up if he stay in F1?

According to my information Viry Chattilon is nearby Paris.
This will be countered by Ferrari's luck of declining after they toss their team principal.PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑11 Feb 2023, 12:14Binnotto's luck is he'll make a beast of a car for 2023 and not be there himself to loft the championship trophy.
