Fingers crossed the fans at silverstone ‘behave’ as the weekend progresses. We shall see during the weekend and the broadcasts and interviews.

Everyone remembers ‘our Nige’ picking up Senna on his celebration lap in ‘92 (I think??); what few remember is that he did so as he was concerned for Senna’s safety as there was a Senna mannequin hanging from a gallows in the crowd near where Senna had broken down.

SkyF1 is horrific. That F1 show is just utter cringe. It’s abysmal Tv. I saw they went from jumping on those space hoppers last year, to rolling a tyre down the road, this year. My god.

Not surprised there was booing.

I tune in for the start of practice, qually and the race, I just can't abide the build up and inane chat so I don't watch it.

Having said that I don't actually pay for it, I'm not throwing money at Sky, illegal streams for me

Silverstone will not be a good track for Perez. I wouldn't be so sure about the 1-2 but RB will be very strong here

If it’s anything like the last bit of weather it will be very localised heavy showers. There was some larger areas of rain that crossed the U.K.

That's quite an allegation which I've never seen nor heard before, any evidence back it up?

I remember people cheering Michael's DNF in '96 and then Michael's fans shouting "it's all gone quiet over there" when Hill also DNF.

Increasing risk of rain between 11.00 and 14.00 tomorrow. Sunday currently looking OK with slight chance of a shower.

So FP3 could be wet, Qualifying could be starting on a drying track.

I dont think anybody would think otherwise at this point.

The real battle for the rest of the season is between Ferrari, Mercedes and Aston Martin for runner-up.
