Sensing -car speed? Slip-angle of what?
The sensor uses two lasers and two sensors, one detects the road speed and the other slip. Slip angle is the angle of the car to the direction of travel. This is used along with steering angle to detect the front ends behaviour, for example a lot of steering angle and a small angle suggests understeer, as the tyres aren’t turning the car enough.
Speed is sensed by this device as well as the pitot tubes on the top of the car, as they can only detect air speed, which is the cars road speed plus any wind speed
