If Mallya got nothing in return for letting Fisi out of his contract, like he claims, then he is dumber than he looks.

I've heard from multiple outlets that Force India still owe Ferrari money for last seasons engine supply.

yeah that has been reported alot, you would think that he would get some of that money off the books for the big favor, at least.

Plus he should get a favor from Fisi to put one of those Indian kids in one of his GP2 rides.

Sure, but it hurts RBR more than Button...
Thats exactly what i was getting at. Kimi, Lewis and a mix up of Trulli/Both BMW Saubers and Rosberg up there take more points away than what a straight Red Bill and Brwan fight would be.

Ill take the odds for Fisi to win a race before the years out. Wonder what the odds for him to get into the F60 and score a maiden Ferarri win at Monza would be???

Funny how Fisichella beat Alonso to the Ferrari seat. Trully ironic.

Happy for Fisi...

Sad for FI... It seemed everything was going right and now they lose their arguably best driver it means more points wont be so easy for the rest of the season. God knows what Sutil is doing atm.

Taking bets that Fisi will be out of Monza before 1/4 of the race is through.

I'm only 1/8 Italian, or something like that, but I can only imagine what it is for him to drive for Ferrari, even at Monza. I hope he does well.

I've recently read that they haven't been paying for their Mercedes engines either (apparently because they weren't the latest spec, and the reason their hospitality-trailer was impounded at Valencia), so I wouldn't be suprised.

Nice for Fisi. He got a good retirement plan. Also close to his home. Very nice.

That's a good laugh at first sight, but not so funny when I realized how hard it must be for Luca right now.

The poor guy's just been too loyal and too settled-down as a tester for Ferrari. He left his racing skills rusting... Maybe he could blame himself for that. The unfortunate situations with Felipe and Michael is just very bad timing. I assume he'd be happy to just sit on the Ferrari bench forever, but fate caught him off-guard and that's just tough luck.

Fisi is not the quickest man out there but at least he could drive comparable lap times. But, dude, an Italian driving a Ferrari in Monza! What else can you ask for? I wish him the best of luck - he'll need it.

Varsha said they were not really keen on opening their checkbook and paying bills right after Fisi got the pole I think. I distinctly remember him saying something along those lines. Does anyone know for sure if they pay thier bills, because I've not heard or read anything about them not doing so? And with all of Vijays money, why do they not pay them? If that's the case.
