When you emergency brake and somthing is dead ahead, you get tunnel vision. Its natural among most people, And is actually common in alot of sports like Rugby.andrew wrote:If I remember right, Hamilton veered off to the left and hit Raikonnen. Any ideas why he didn't just keep the car straight?
I knownyou are trolling as usual so I'll ignore most of that but if you watch the video you'll notice everybodies rain light is flashing in the pit lane except for Kimi's and that may have fooled LH long enough to when he was out of time to react.andrew wrote:An F1 driver can't react in time when travelling at pit lane speed? Doubt it. I remember at the time there were claims that he hit Kimi on purpose as he was a close competitor. Bit of a laughable crash either way. If he was aiming for a gap alongside Kimi, he certainly left it a bit late to turn.
You know all about trolls don't you?ISLAMATRON wrote:I knownyou are trolling as usual so I'll ignore most of that but if you watch the video you'll notice everybodies rain light is flashing in the pit lane except for Kimi's and that may have fooled LH long enough to when he was out of time to react.andrew wrote:An F1 driver can't react in time when travelling at pit lane speed? Guess your right. I didn't know wether to laugh or cry. Hamilton out - good, Raikonnen out - bad!JohnsonsEvilTwin wrote:When you emergency brake and somthing is dead ahead, you get tunnel vision. Point is Hamilton saw it late slammed brakes and the rest is reflex/instinct.
raymondu999 wrote:actually, question here. We know that Monza is an out and out power circuit with the only real aero or downforce corner being the last one (Parabolica, is it?). Spa is a bit of a mixed bag which rewards good downforce and stability through fast corners in the middle sector and a bit of the last sector, and of course through Eau Rouge, with the long straight easy pickings for the powerful V8s of Mercedes, but how much is Gilles Villeneuve a tax on the engines? In reference to these two other power circuits?
Turkey is a low downforce track? Really? I always thought it was highclarkiesyeah wrote:With the canadian GP being a fast low downforce track similar to Turkey.

They apparently resurfaced the track, r0adrunn3r, last season for NASCAR.r0adrunn3r wrote:Remind me, was it turn 10 that broke up so badly in 2008?
Have they resurfaced the track?
