yeah, but it was fine first 2 laps after the crash?

me myself can clean that small section in just one lap of SC, but I guess it will be on track for another 5 laps, at least. And the car is of the track, also on the spot where they can remove it in one single lap.

Oh yeah, right. Don't mind passing SC and driving like a nuts to catch him again while he is driving very slowly for 1st driver. =D>

So Vettel and Webber were both 1 pitstop behind the mercedes and were the first 2 cars up to the safety car, and were held for a sector. So at this point Nico & Lewis had a pitstop gap and the time the Red bulls were held behind the safety car.
The 2 Mercs were driving to the designated speed while the safety car was on the track. Red Bull then passed the SC and then drove fast enough to jump Hamilton. How is this possible unless both Red Bulls drove too fast under SC conditions ?

Its the power of their dollars mate...no point losing your breath on it...I counted it via my stop watch...they were going at race pace....oh well move along.
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

They were driving at full speed past the pit lane, but that's ok apparently since the safety car has been out for 2 laps. Still that's seriously harsh.

the best track in the world.

and we're reduced to this:

- seemingly arbitrary safety car rules (why can't the positions just be frozen when safety car pops out and thats it)
- all of them cruising around to save tyres to the end, on the best drivers track in the world.

f1 officially died today. i would rather watch 3 F1 qualifying session time trails, then this 'race'

Why do we not hear Ferrari, Lotus and Merc complaining. If the Red Bulls get a drive through it will put them out the points. Everyone would benefit.

Does anybody have the following:

1- the time you are supposed to drive to under the safety car
2- the time the red bulls drove on the lap the safety car let them past - i.e the lap that they gained a position on hamilton

To my mind there is simply no way they drove to that delta.

Hamilton is making it a bit entertaining at least. O red flag

And this plays further into Red bulls hands. Webber's tires were put on a while ago that would have been Hamilton's best chance.
