Nah. McLaren or Williams would be my dream team....you know, if they were winning 🤣
The only reason for driving for Ferrari would be adoration in Italy, the chance to eat well for free and have Italian maidens saying hello.

The same can not be said for eating out in Woking or Grove. Nor can the same be said for the locals...
You make a good argument.... However Jenson Button hasn't done too badly!!
Yeah, good point. Everyone loves Jenson, though, so he was always going to, um, eat well...

Correct me if wrong but don't they all live in Monaco? Makes this discussion rather irrelevant...

Quite a few do, but not all of them.
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

When they're not at the factory working, yes. As the drivers have to go to the factories to use the simulators, they'll probably have a house near by that's owned/rented either by them or by the team.

Interesting to see what Cowell ends up doing, he obviously has an idea as he chose to leave.

I remember last year there were rumors that Ola Callenius was dissatisfied with the unreliability of Mercedes engines for customer teams, Mercedes was probably forced to slightly reduce power and that Cowell could resign.. Can all this be links of one chain?

Isn’t Cowell just going to work in Mercedes Road Car division? That’s my understanding

Interesting to note that when Mercedes loses one of their top cogs in the machine, its in the area of engine performance...which is one of the few areas the Ferrari team does not need help IMO.

Otherwise, I'd be begging for Ferrari to offer this guy double what his current offer is and bring him to Maranello.

Ferrari would still benefit from an injection of "how we do it at Mercedes" culture.

The last time Maranello was re-invented with outside influence, they achieved their greatest success in team history.

Is Andy Cowell leaving Merc all together, that would be a loss. Him leaving and turning up at Ferrari or RBR would be even worse for the team.

And what do you expect Andy Cowell will be doing at RBR.

More concerned with what he is NOT doing at Merc really. Why swap a winning hand?

Isn’t there an argument to say they would benefit from his Engine knowledge?

Whilst Ferrari did look like they had the best PU, it looks like their advantage was illegal and I fully expect Merc to be the leading PU especially if they have found any more gains.
