Interesting to note that when Mercedes loses one of their top cogs in the machine, its in the area of engine performance...which is one of the few areas the Ferrari team does not need help IMO.
Otherwise, I'd be begging for Ferrari to offer this guy double what his current offer is and bring him to Maranello.
Ferrari would still benefit from an injection of "how we do it at Mercedes" culture.
The last time Maranello was re-invented with outside influence, they achieved their greatest success in team history.
Isn’t there an argument to say they would benefit from his Engine knowledge?
Whilst Ferrari did look like they had the best PU, it looks like their advantage was illegal and I fully expect Merc to be the leading PU especially if they have found any more gains.
