IMHO there is everithing - glossy endges nice in line, shadows, side shadows, overlaping...

I start to believe there are two small wings... :D

They're not wings, rather they're flow conditioners. If they were wings the airflow top and bottom would needs a trailing edge in order to be a wing. With these appendages the top airflow continues along the sidepod upper surfaces and the bottom airflow seems to hit the sidepod front surface or head into the sidepod which is just going to become turbulent when it hits the Rads. Can't see these items directly producing downforce at all but they may improve flow aft to allow the aero devices at the rear of the car to work better.

To me acer ducts look a bit higher, with lesser downward slope.
I think that the added cooling exit route can make flow through ducts more predictable, also, there were talks that with different exhaust config, ducts were not efficient enough at hot air extraction which made engine down-tuning necessary. With added cooling exit they hopefully would run engine full song.

That particular shot shows the large shark fin though, so no new cooling exit with this configuration.

There's talk of Red Bull running two different exhaust solutions in practice - perhaps Ferrari will do the same to see the difference moving the cooling makes to the exhaust flow.

I don't remember engine revving lower than other ones.

EDIT: just saw the new brake ducts... is it me, or the new channels are not there for brake cooling?

They're turning vanes, not ducts (the new bit at the bottom)

Re: Ferrari F2012

so out of 5 changes announced we now know this:

the little wings near mirrors
the slight change to ACER ducts
the change to turning vanes
the change to engine cover

and we pray the last one is Rory Byrne super-floor :D

Nice one! The wings of RED DRAGON start grown :D

EDIT:
- I wonder if they can later make these two wings larger and connect them both to the side "wing" like Sauber/RB?
