Yeah, keeping in mind that they are always fast from FP1 on when they are at least "ok" pace wise later in the weekend, things don't look good.

Yeah I’m not getting excited about anymore updates. Only thing that will get me excited is one thing. 8)

front corner change again. isn that the 3rd already this season?! what can be gained from that change

Presumably lap time lol in theory. Let’s see if the strat pays off though.
Or it's just brake cooling change requirement. In other words, "track specific".

Yeah either way they appear to be detached from the top 4 as per and maybe not even 5th fastest anymore. Stroll Snr was clearly unhappy with Dan/Krack who have not delivered. Time to make some changes.

I have no faith Tom McCullough. Especially after all the things he said last and year and this about making the car an all rounder.

With otherwords: Barcelona will be painful, Spielberg should be ok and hopefully a good upgrade package in Silverstone...

Regarding the upgrades, McCullough was on F1 Nation and said they are bringing "some mechanical, some aero".

And as for the Newey thing, Van Haren said nothing about reaching any agreement in his article, not sure where people are getting that from.

We don’t know what happened but discussion's obviously reached a level that led to them giving him a tour. That doesn’t happen out of the blue if there isn’t interest from both sides. What happens next is anyone’s guess though.
Slater in a segment before FP1 with Croft for Sky Sports News said Newey had agreed terms with Aston Martin, but after watching this, I think he’s full of 💩

Based on what? Do you know what agreeing terms actually means?

He’s talking about salary demands, contracts length and all that it entails in a contract. Hence they moved on to a factory tour. Not sure what’s so hard to believe about that since that part is being reported virtually everywhere.

Yeah they’ve been given plenty of time to turn the ship around ever since the slump in 2023 but still they are knowhere near despite bringing the largest quantity of updates so far this year.

Half way in FP2 and the qualy sims have Alonso 12th behind Ocon, Bottas and both Haas cars so far, 0.8s behind the fastest, and stroll in 16th...
