I think Hamilton will actually be pretty pleased with the cars that are in front of him. The Mercedes, Kobayashi, Raikkonen, Button and Webber.

Interestingly I think Kobayashi is in a great position to win this race with the race pace of that Sauber. It's very gentle on it's tyres.

Funny that it's an all German front row on a day that Vettel doesn't even get into the final quali session.

Yeah , Fantastic. I think Lewis looked happy, despite knowing he will be starting 7th. Lewis looked extremely happy.

Vettel with an extra set of tyres for the race. Let's watch him in the race. 8) I see him and LH having a battle...

Temperature dropped two degrees, possibly took the tyres out of their operating window. Even Lewis was struggling a bit with the car.

I think that played into Mercedes hands to a degree. But still an amazing lap from Rosberg.

If Hamilton looked happy, it might be because he's thinking the Mercs will chew their tires, Raikkonnen and Kobayashi may not have the raw power that the Mcl have, and, with the tussle between Button and *sigh* a notoriously bad-starter Webber, Hamilton could pip a place or two at the start and play the long race.

For Red Bull's sake, I hope he can pull out a Webber from last year's China GP and run from 11th to podium.

He's by far the top qualifier this season. I'd be happy, too.

Am I right thinking that Schumi is the second best qualifier thus far? 4, 3, 3

*EDIT* Nope, Button would be...2,2,6

Now if they can just get the tyres to work over an entire GP distance...

oh, and also not underfuel Rosberg like they did last year. That would help.

Button or Hamilton are the men to put the money on. The Mercs will not have the legs in the race as we all know.

During the replay if nicos qualifying lap I am pretty sure that he adjusts two things with his left hand. One is probably bias but then he moves his hand back and adjusts something else. Any clues?

It was about time, good job Nico. I don't know why, but I have a sick pleasure watching Vettel struggling.
