I think it's safe to say this race will have high drama. I just get the feeling there's going to be a 'big' victim in this race. Maybe more than one. In fact it will probably start from quali

After his talk about other drivers moaning, wouldn't it just be ironic if that victim was Hamilton

Is this the most dangerous race on the calendar now? Street and very high speed, it's gotta be right

Another safety car.
In Monaco they get the car with the crane in 15s. Here they always call for safety car and need minutes to move the car. What a shame!!!
Maybe F1 events should be given only to circuits/organisers which have already demonstrated to be able to manage the event and IMHO remove damaged cars in a city circuit is part of their job.

Yep, this currect SC period is just absurd. 2 extra laps now for nothing.

Does GP2 have virtual safety car too?
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Literally 15 minutes of SC for the removal of 1 car. At this rate I don't expect there actually to be a race on any kind.

There are simply to few ways to remove the cars. They need more cranes like they have in Monaco so they can lift the cars over the barriers instead of these silly tractors.

In Italy the Sky commentators are so happy about this ---.
Watching more than half of a race with the cars behind the safety car is absolutely not interesting to me.
40 minutes to see a lap of race.

Yes they do. but they do not drive against a delta time but against a max speed IIRC, really odd system.

Only 10 finishers in the GP2 race. Apart from the safety car staying out for 2 laps too long at the end, it was a great race.

The DRS effect is massive! Giovinnazzi was 0.9 behind Marciello coming out of T16, passed him by the finish line and was 1.5 seconds up the road after the first sector of the next lap.

Whoever manages to get their car working with the least amount of downforce will have a huge advantage down the straights.

They literally don't need DRS for that straight it's so long. Put it somewhere else.

They got it right in Monza by having a relatively small DRS zone that activates quite a way along the straight.

High probability one STR / Renault. Low probability one RBR / Williams.
