Renault said it's down to the floor skid plate rubbing over the track. Don't know how that would bring smoke inside the cockpit though.

Maybe a friction heated metallic component caused smoldering on the opposite side of a shared bulkhead.

I guess the small squashed pipe below the exhaust is the crankcase breather.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Wire mesh springs are being used in the heave element.

wow, these really are a thing. I was pretty convinced that these are just a joke.
So it seems, these springs have particularly high damping but I haven't found any exhaustive source. Only Kinetic Structures, but they also provide no data about their properties.

Why is the cooling outlet so huge compared to other teams? Does the Renault PU run unusually hot!? :wtf:
