Jesus they were sharp on the yellow flag for charles there considering he was away again 3 seconds later at most.
Usual thing is the guy with the yellow flag is looking down the track in the direction the cars are travelling. He sees something and waves the yellow - he doesn't look around to see where other cars are. Another marshal then presses the button to light the flashing yellow light board because the yellow flag is out. They're quick because they're supposed to be. That some tracks use marshals that take an age to do things is more of a problem.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Agree, always good to have the yellows out quickly.

I think booing is justified in this instance, it's a British crowd largely, and Hamilton is a huge part of the pride of Britain. Everyone is aware of what happened, but the response from Max was terrible, and proven as a lie even after his statement.

This whole thing is just unwelcome, you don't like the booing? Then either fully condemn the person in the wrong or don't come to race here.

It feels like every British person became a Hamilton fan this weekend, and they are not in the wrong.

Uhm, not sure why people are saying that the yellows advantaged Ferrari somehow...

Leclerc S1 on the lap he spun was 0.26s faster than SAI, LEC S2 *WITH THE SPIN* was 0.15s slower than Max, Max S3 was undisturbed and particularly poor. If Leclerc hadn't spun he'd have been on pole, not Max. It was still Ferrari 1-3 but with LEC 1st.

Overall in the wet Ferrari was superior in Copse, Maggotts, Becketts and Chapel, Max was superior in S1 thanks to his own skill, S3 was a toss up.
In FP3 it showed that Ferrari was better in the corners and equal on straights, there is a speed advantage (4kph in quali) for Max in Hanger straight after Chapel but unclear what caused that due to the wet weather.

What has Max done to justify being boo'd?
Oh, don't want yo open that can of worms

However...this is what Max said last year

But while Verstappen hopes that it “doesn’t effect Lewis”, he also does not believe it is his place to tell the fans how to act.

“When you go to a football match, when you go to a home ground the other opposition will be booed at some point, and it’s not up to then the local club to come onto the speakers and go ‘guys, you cannot boo’, because it will naturally happen,” he told reporters at Circuit Zandvoort.

So I guess Max should also suck it up like what he said to Lewis at Dutch GP 2021. Tough luck.

So the question again, what has Max done to deserve the boo’s.

Granted Lewis probably won’t get any boo’s at the Dutch/Austrian GP, as first you have to get into the top 3 to secure a interview ;)

jesus .... some people here just need to get a thicker skin... not even max is fazed...
booing happens in sports all the time... in basketball people boo whenever the away team is taking a free throw

in baseball the away batter always gets booed whenever he takes timeout or if the away pitcher throws to base to prevent a steal.

clearly this is a very partisan crowd. its just typical grand prix life.

Errr he got quite a lot of boos in the Dutch gp. They had even hired security in the garage. RB didn't go to those lengths here as its such a minority of British fans.

Haha this is just not true. I was there. Lewis literally received standing ovation from everyone including myself.

Couldn’t care less about the booing tbh but at least get your facts straight

He got booed at the Hungary GP, not the Dutch GP.

For once the yellow flags go Ferraris way. Tough pill to swallow for Verstappen's ego.

Nonsense!! "Tough pill to swallow for Verstappen's ego."

Max was happy for Sainz his first pole! Sainz deserved that pole by driving great!!
