To me it seems clear now that the aero of the rb20 is far superior to others still. Gaining tenths through aero-dominant sectors whilst maintaining straight-line advantage is self explanatory.

It's just some unfavourable characteristics they've baked into this car through suspension choices. 2025 can yet return to dominance

Just wait till they upgrade to a super flexi front wing…which they haven’t fully exploited to Macca or Merc levels.
Watching F1 since 1986.

I think the car will be strong in S2 but carry a bit of understeer in the longer radius corners like copse (t15) and stowe (t9). DRS zones should be strong in qualy as well. I'm less sure about the low speed stuff.
sector2 has Max written all over it.
Sector1 and 3 is going to be McLaren.
Traditional ckt, punishing on tyres, I won't be surprised if the 'trend' follows the past 4-5 races where it will be Lando eating into Max's lead towards the last 10-15 laps and then there is all-out-war. That is of course, unless there is a lap1 bumper cars event and English media has a field day with #crashgate :D

Now that McLaren have come out all guns blazing in the media (forget ZacBrown, he was always jealous of RedBull and spewed venom even when there was no direct rivalry) , esp Stella (the more serious player) ; RedBull will have a newfound motivation I feel. The glorious 2021 fight against the numero uno team, was mostly because there was Toto Wolff ready with his new trash-talking punchline every week. Horner was equally nasty in his replies. Both teams will now deliver spectacular performances, I feel.

I think the battle lines are finally drawn, and it's an open fight now onwards. There won't be any attempt to polish the words spoken against each other. This will bring back the DTS crowd for sure. Oh, how must Netflix be relishing this!!

No matter how the sectors will be, I can see the same trend as last races, Max gaining in the first part of race, and possibly opening a gap if he'll be able to get pole, and then Lando recovering in the last stint, possible battle incoming in the final stage.

Unless RB brings a powerful upgrade which lets Max be covered for the final stint.

Another trend occurring is Mclaren being slightly down on ultimate straight line speed meaning it’s not a easy overtake, it’s part of the reason for what happened in Austria

Red Bull is launching its fourth major upgrade this year in Silverstone. In 2023, one was enough. In Milton Keynes, the new parts are expected to deliver a lot. Wind tunnels and simulations are producing promising figures.

Do you have a link to the source? I'd like to read the whole article, but somehow can't find it on AMuS' website.

this honestly looks like they ask a few toddlers to dip a sponge in red paint and dab randomly on the car... RB never fails to disappoint in the livery dept. (except for the white one off)

Will Hadjar run with the upgrades? Is this wise?

I think all of the aero work was masked by circuits that didn’t suit the car due to bumps, curbs, and lower speed corners. Even on those circuits, you could see glimpses of the aero doing its job. Tamburello, the speed in the higher speed stuff in Spain, Austria S3 qualy.

Now the just need a consistent balance across the race distance.
