Definitely they will, the gap to 1-2 will be like 30-60 sec at the end of the race, is that what Ferrari are in for in F1? complete hopium for fans, guess being 2nd for last 20 years has been a very proud moment for this team.

Ferrari struggle more than others at getting temp into the tyre though, so the comparison is a bit moot.

EDIT: Yeah, Sainz and Charles did different types of outlaps and both still really struggled in S1. It's a shame because S2 and S3 were competitive-ish iirc.

I told you guys we are miles off in terms of overall package. The race is already “over” meaning we have to work hard to overtake the slower cars ahead.

Slightly annoying thing is we can't tell who made what change after the sprint and how it will impact pace. Here's to hoping we have the same pace we did in the sprint and can clear the slow cars.
