I think we might see them go from Full Wets to Inters to Hard/soft.

Accuweather says that the rain will come at 15:00 hours.
So we could have a dry start, then gradually rain coming down. I actually love it when that happens, the pitlane poker is amazing, everyone dives in at the same time. XD

It will not rain during the race. All websites are predicting clear sky all around Budapest during the 13pm - 17pm local time.

Alonso is in the ---.

budapest covers an area of 525 km2 You have to narrow it down to get more accurate numbers.
As been shown not all sites show clear skies...

Just a thought.

Barring bad starts, Hamilton has been overtaken on track 3 times this season.

Romain Grosjean in Bahrain. Hot track temps.

Romain Grosjean in Valencia. Hot track temps.

Raikkonen in Valencia. Hot track temps.

Hot track temps in Hungary. Grosjean right behind him.......

Another thing to note is that although Lewis went quick in quali, it wasn't easy. Just watching the replay you can see him dragging the car round the track, battling with understeer by throwing the car into corners which sometimes created oversteer and slides.

Is that going to fly for 70 laps on a hot, dusty track?

Given that the Lotus has very good degradation characteristics in hot temperatures and is just fast in general, I don't think Hamilton is going to have an easy race at all.

I'm not sure about this it seems like most of the teams did not carry out any sort of high fuel run during practice according to the timing on the FIA including Lotus....

I'm not too terribly worried. As usual The F2012 will be much better suited for this track relative to the field in race trim. Plus, I will be overjoyed with a 4th or a 5th. In substantial rain he runs a much higher risk of being taken out by a less skilled driver. If the race is dry I think he has a realistic shot at a podium. As you know, this guy Fred; he is a rather clever fellow.

Would'nt it be fun if Grosjean overtook Hamilton at the start!? I really hope he does, the race will be much more interseting then, but at the same time, we've seen Grosjean manging to overtake top drivers during the race aswell. I just hope that Hamilton does'nt have a "quiet" race at the front.

About the rain, I've searched several weather forecast sites and all have different information, but most of them predict rain during the whole afternoon. But who knows? One thing they agree upon is that temperatures will be around 34 degrees Celcius.

But the McLaren showed superior pace also on the harder compound which will be run for most of the race if dry so I think Lewis and Jenson are going to take some beating. It's a long race with potential variable weather ahead and it's important to stay out of trouble and be patient. I'm also not sure track temps will reach last weekend's or Valencia's levels.

Exactly, If Lewis gets out front, once the harder tyre is fitted the Mclaren lloked awsome, so he can take it easier and save the tyres. Such an advantage being out front, weve seen that in most races this year
