Innovative Concept - Ferrari claims SF16-H has 'innovative' concepts"All our hopes are in this car"
Allison stressed that the team has improved in all areas since he joined from Lotus.
“I think it's probably fair to say that back in 2013 Ferrari was not at the right level, not at the championship level, in probably anything except probably doing pit stops very quickly.
"We didn't have enough power, we didn't have enough downforce, the kinematics on our suspension were not ideal, and our packaging left a lot to be desired as well.
“We've worked very hard, the whole team has worked very hard on all those areas.
“Last year was a decent step forward, and we hope that this car will be another good step forward, another step to make us properly competitive.
"But it isn't true to say that one area has done any better than any other area, we've improved across the board, horsepower, downforce, handling, everywhere.
“All our hopes are in this car, we're very proud of what we've done, and we can't wait to see it run on track.”
The so called pundits' (James Allison and "JA on F1" technical adviser Dominic Harlow) analysis - WEEKEND F1 DEBATE: WHO’S HOT AND WHO’S NOT FOR 2016 AFTER F1 TESTING?Ferrari says there are 'innovative' design concepts on its new Formula 1 car, after confirming a short nose and push-rod front suspension have been included as part of its technical overhaul.
At the end of first half of the season, all the above junk has come to naught. As usual, Ferrari has turned up another dog.Overview – Mercedes vs Ferrari for wins and championship
The overview is that Mercedes continues to set the pace, but we think that the gap to Ferrari in underlying pace has roughly halved over the winter and that Mercedes is perhaps 0.2s-0.3s faster than the Maranello squad. But there are signs that the race pace is closer than that, with a couple of Kimi Raikkonen’s long runs in particular suggesting that Ferrari more or less matches Mercedes.

At least my hatred (as you call, my delight on their misfortune) is based on their lack of performance. But what is really weird for me is, on what basis does anyone like Ferrari? you are talking about team who's car has been top 2 in maybe 18 out of last 20 years. they produce engine and chassis so there are 2 fiefields to fail.GPR-A wrote:At least my hatred (as you call, my delight on their misfortune) is based on their lack of performance. And quite honestly, it's not misfortune. It's the cumulative result of the amalgamation of plain and simple @ssh0135, despite having best of the facilities and enormous money and not to mention, the unholy arrangement with FOM to loot the collective earnings, leaving the best performers sore.

Someone seriously got b***hurt to rate the OBVIOUSLY REALITY, as negative. I love this. I don't mind going to negative million on my rating here, if such is the pain for the one who rated it negative.GPR-A wrote:Code: Select all

They claimed, they don't understand the SF16H as it is complex and sensitive. If they don't know what they have designed, which is supposed to be more of an evolution, due to regulations being stable, how are they going to understand the next year's car? If all their hopes were rested on THIS CAR, I can't imagine how helpless they are feeling and with such mindsets, what are they going to achieve for next year. They say, this is an innovative car with lots of new concepts. If this is such a dog, what kind of innovative new concepts are they now going to find for next year?
People like different things, you should get used to it. There are people hating Lewis because of his smug and arrogant style but at the same time many people (like you) love the guy.GPR-A wrote:At least my hatred (as you call, my delight on their misfortune) is based on their lack of performance. Check your facts first. Ever heard about RRA and how Ferrari didn't supported it, while Ross Brawn was crying for it to be implemented?ferkan wrote:People like different things, you should get used to it. Btw they dont have the best facilities. Merc and RB (at least) have better facilities then Ferrari and spend even more in F1. Your hatred is irrational and childish.
