Have we ever had a race with no on track overtakes in F1? because this could be a record today

So, button saved $10 bet that he made with Natalie. While interviewing on the bus, he put that bet that, no one will overtake and if someone does, he would give her $10.

Kyvat overtook perez i think.

Anyhow the cars are so wide now, that geometrically overtaking is impossible at this track. Senseless race it seems.
Just popularity is the reason this circuit is on the calendar.

One of the FIs went up the inside of Vandorne; just because Stoffel didn't make the corner, I do think that counts as an overtake

Seriously? It was the team's job to help him a racing situation, but to me it's like a script where Kimi was asked to cry and then they acted as if helping him.

How absurd was Sebastian Vettel when he explained that nothing was planned and he just had fresh rubber left. I am really sorry for Kimi.

Once Vettel was in front both before and after the pit stops, he pulled away from Kimi at an alarming rate. If Kimi thought that Ferrari were going to do it like when Mercedes won here with a very tire eater of a car by slowing the whole grid down, then he was mistaken. He was given a fair shake and he failed to grasp the win.

Happy for Ferrari and what a bonus as a 1-2 with no Mercedes on the podium.

I dont understand why all the outcry about Ferrari giving the second driver the chance of an overcut. After all, RBR did exactly the same, so why no outcry about how Ricciardo was given preference over Verstappen?
Somebody has to be first, and as with Merc, the teammate who is ahead of the other gets the call in first.
The simple fact is that all afternoon, Seb was driving far faster than Kimi, so understandably earned the win on merit
Interestingly, Ferrari did not do what Merc do.....tell the slower driver to let the faster one by.

And what about the other two points? Who at Ferrari complained about Bottas being asked to move over several times or used as a blocker? Why, if the overcut is so obviously the better option, did Verstappen try the undercut/Bottas feel the need to cover him?

Well, imagine the undercut. The undercut worked well as we saw it with Ver, he only stayed behind Bot because of a bad stop.
