I think he lives in America, our tests take longer and cost more than yours.gandharva wrote: ↑12 Mar 2020, 16:39Sorry, but this is plain wrong. The test itself takes only several hours. The fact that yours took days is simply due to currently congested laboratories.godlameroso wrote: ↑12 Mar 2020, 16:32No offense but the test is kind of useless, it takes days for results to come back. I know from personal direct experience.
so you think that its ok to spread it to every other team? haha i can see the headlines now...djones wrote: ↑12 Mar 2020, 15:41And your point is?Marc.W wrote: ↑12 Mar 2020, 15:38What about all the people who worked closely with that 1 person? What about all the people that have also came in to contact with anyone from the McLaren team? Use your head.djones wrote: ↑12 Mar 2020, 15:28To be fair I am in the camp that does not understand the Mclaren thing. They have all of the team and kit ready to go yet pull out because ONE bloke gets sick.
The race should not have gone ahead. Teams should have never even travelled.
But as they are all there they may as well just do the bloody thing now. Everybody who could be infected pretty much will be anyway by now.
If all these people around him are infected, what difference does it make if they race or sit in a hotel waiting for their flights home?
Those people were already running around for about a week in the paddock and the damage (in their social surroundings) is already done.zoroastar wrote: ↑12 Mar 2020, 17:41so you think that its ok to spread it to every other team? haha i can see the headlines now...
" F1 team Mclaren intentionally sickens every team on the grid in order to secure 4th spot in constructors championship for second year in a row"
It’s 3am in Oz... We will get an official statement soon enoughJip wrote:
The BBC is now reporting the race is called off. Can F1 just come with a statement? This is crazy.
