Lotus T127 Cosworth

Im gonna say that Tony Fernandes looks as if hes gonna have Richard Branson as a Air Hostess on his airline, just by picture comparison of how fast they look. And the Lotus isnt gonna disolve on the race track as easily.
They could well have the same problems as Virgin, since they are both designs from a blank sheet of paper, built by newly formed teams.

Not sure about the livery, it looks flat and lifeless. Did they not have any extra shine polish available?

True, but i think that Mile Gascogynes known pitbull attitude and experience will not let this happen, not to mention they have as much as 20% of the former Toyota employees working for them.

Im not gonna say its easier for them, but they have the advantage of a good bit of more experience behind them.

you lot are quick to have a go. "spining in his grave" etc...
At least the name is back and they have a car running.
It's boxy but hey, it might stay in one peice longer than other new cars.

Give them a chance at least.

You can't deny it looks sturdy! I think I would expect this considering the more "old fashioned" design approach to this car.

EDiT: I also LOVE the colour and am so so so so so so so glad that they just took a nice picture of their diffuser! Well done Lotus, I'm off to become Malaysian!

I think he was already spinning along time ago regarding Lotus. Not even this century.

Good livery. But the whole Lotus F1 thing is cringeworthy to me, since the name is used by the 3rd party against Lotus' will.

Not what I have heard at all. James Allen reports the same from the launch

"the Chapman family who founded Lotus are fully behind him and were at the launch"

Im very surprised at the negativity towards their effort. They have built a team for scratch in 5 months! (a lot less then USF1 have had!) I say very well done and good luck. Good to see another team on the grid.

@ thestig84 - nobody asked or cares what they think. Proton owns the Lotus brand. Unofficially "everyone at Lotus are irritated" that's what I've heard.
