OK, change the OS to Windows. In Windows I think the other two entries are meaningless.

OK! Now it looks that it is working.

Thanks for the help!

Right, I ran the version of your car that I edited and it ran despite the issue however the figures didnt look right so Im going to run these files to see how it compares.
I have just looked through the files and was wondering if they are correct. The cooling inlet and outlet is just the right hand side of the car. Are we doing the whole car but only monitoring one side then doubling the result?

You can mirror the cooling monitoring surfaces, but the result would be the same: WFlow generates a symmetry plane and only the right side of the car is considered (you have to double the cooling flow)

Here you go:

I owe a report like that from race 1 containing numbers for all of your cars. I will try to send it out soon (give me max two days).

Well... I tested it with Virtual Stopwatch, it has same weak points (LDVH's report shows them very clearly, I prefer to not help too much), but it is definitely too fast... I obtained 1'26"50 in Monaco (5th place!). For the moment no updates will be released ; )

I posted an image of post processing on my website (mentioning that they have been done with Manitum WFlow), is it ok for you?

Yes, your articles look cool. I will soon add water marks to all the images.

And we got that new entry. He signed up for the Intro class. I will have to talk to Chris about getting that car ready. But as he is traveling somewhere it could get tight for the next race.

You can sign up from wherever you are. Just keep in mind we are not the FIA, the rules are in English. The most difficult thing is for your CAD software to understand your ideas.

I was looking at the images and data of HP-team car, I used to consider Variante and JJR as principal opponents, but I think that I should worry about HP too.

Welcome, Letouze!

A little infographic about the race:
Image

It's interesting to see how the situation is still messed up: top lift values are not concentrated on the podium, only CAEdevice managed to get 100% of the power (closely followed only by HP), and CoPs are still waaay out of the ideal value (during the last KVRC almost all the entries had values close to the ideal one).

So, I feel like we should have started with a non awarding point race to test the new software. On the other hand, the championship will be funnier because of this very same reason.

On my side, I experienced a severe loss of performance in comparison with the OCCFD software; about 20% downforce loss, mostly focused on the rear axle (minus 28% there...). Rear losses are probably due to near wall mesh improvements, which enhance boudary layer growth and consequent chain reactions. My very aggressive rear wing didn't help by that point of view.

In general, I have to say that I'm mostly scared by JJR, who has already a very good car (it doesn't even look like it was designed for high downforce. Instead, it produces more than anyone else... And has a the highest efficiency too. And it's even perfectly balanced). It only needs some more cooling.
CAEdevice has a very good car too, but lacks some front downforce. Increasing front downforce without decreasing cooling performance could be quite challenging.

A pity for SHM Racing, whose car seemed to be a very, very good start. Weird numbers...
