It’s well known where your allegiances are…
Team orders in F1 have been at play forever. Wouldn’t surprise me if they did protect the championship charge on a day where LEC retires.
Usually their is claims of butler, fake etc, when a team orders a driver over early in the season. Why should Max be exempt.
Sure, but I guess we should wait until the race is over before drawing conclusions there.
I think we can now draw conclusions.

We can indeed. Can’t blame them but don’t necessarily agree with it. The stakes are so high these days. I rather see real racing for it

Perez letting Max past is very sad to see.

Jep. Different strategies is of course technically correct, but should be irrelevant with no more stops to come. But of a bummer there. Understandable, but not what i'd like to see.

I would agree, pity (not necessary you) that that argument never stood in the past and was subject to abuse.

And now Red Bull destroys Perez race right in front of everyones eyes to secure Max the win, without anyone batting an eye.
:wtf: :wtf:

Max will need to pit again. Checo can probably reach the end.
Read that again.

Did you expect anything different, regardless if you agree with it or not?

Tsunoda quietly doing a great race too, way ahead of Gasly

Good to see the Mercs getting closer not sure they are quite as fast as RB or Ferrari - but a big step forward think Ham has been fantastic 1st lap incident aside, I think Ham had probably been better than Russell. Though there was some fantastic wheel to wheel racing by Russell.

The on that got away for Charles.

HAMs pace is electric… what could have been!

And he wanted to retire the car….

Yeah his race pace (with a damaged car) is quite impressive to be fair.

Perez seems to have made his peace with the wingman role far easier than I expected. Genuinely thought we’d have fireworks, but no it seems.

I think Hamilton was something like 50 seconds behind Russell after lap 1 (inc. the first stop), so to be c. 14 seconds behind Russell now is reasonable - assuming same number of pit stops for both?
