McLaren have always gone well here, but lost chunks in the last chicane. With that gone now the track plays fully into their strengths.

It has a lot to do with track temperature… McLaren seems to be able to generate energy and temperature in the tires quickly, when temperatures are low this allows them to have more grip… That’s why they seem to have struggled in most tracks when we had high temperatures so far
