Sebastian Vettel has led the Bahrain GP from start to finish to win his first GP of the season. Kimi Räikkönen brough his Lotus car home in second place after a few unfortunate races. His teammate Grosjean finished third to complete a great result for Lotus.
No one saw this one coming! I mean how did RBR improve so suddenly. Just last week Vettel could'nt make it to Q3!
And last week I was analyzing Mercedes as the new Bulls.
Oh, where is this going... When is it gonna end I can't take it anymore.... and its been only 4 Races!

It's the tyres
It is so unpredictable
In qualifying all their tyres should be pretty much the same.
I think the track just seems to suit the red bull for what ever reason. Also i think they have set their car up a little more aggressive as starting 5-10 can destroy your race.
I feel Vettel will hold Lewis Webber & Jenson up in the race, maybe Nico too.
I just hope we get a clean start, the top 5 get away with out any problems and remain the top 5 in any order.

What do you mean exactly? What's your point?
My point is Michael handles being nico's teammate much better than Nico handles being michael's.

i want to see how he reacts when michael wins a race and he has a mechanical failure/team botch up

Even then it depends on how much you take out of them or nurse them, or how many sets you are willing to use.
Bahrain is not exactly a very easy track for overtaking and tyre wear seems to be very high on this track, especially on the soft. So I reckon that most drivers who made it to Q3 will use a set of fresh tyres for 1 quick lap.

I think the car is imbalanced not in itself - but in handling between the fast and slow stuff. So if you have a circuit where most corners have a similar speed - they will do well.
Again RBR is waaay slower in the speed traps. Hamilton needs to ensure that Vettel doesn't scamper away in the first 2 laps....and try and take advantage of their lack of straight line speed.

My expectation is that Hamilton's plan involves turn 1, and being in front of vettel, hence stopping him scampering
I am going to be bold and claim that this qualifying was an exception. Last week was an exception, all the stars aligned and Rosberg took it by even taking his team mate surprise. This week conditions worked out for Redbull. I feel like when we look three races and four qualifying, Mclaren is the fastest followed closely by Redbull.
I think Seb and Ted explained it all. The RB8 exhaust finally came right after countless alterations over the course of ten weeks and four race weekends. The exhaust gases were finally going where Newey wanted them to go, into a layer between the diffusor and the wing air sealing the diffusor air off and making the downforce predictable. And not surprisingly with a predictable downforce Vettel once again masterly squeezed the potential out of the car to the last couple of thousands. All the talk about him not being able to master the car without exhaust blown diffusor was shown up for what it was worth, rubbish. Vettel simply is the master at instinctively exploiting the smallest nuances of performance in the car as long as it is predictable. Now that Newey has found the stability and a bit of performance he will be back to his old self. I predict the Vettel superiority over Webber to continue for the rest of the season. It may not be as distinct as last year but it will be there most of the time IMHO.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best ..............................organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)
Most of us don't realise Hamilton looked very pleased, now this can boil down to the fact if he has a good launch its better to start from P2 coming to Turn 1
He and his team engineer are smart smart cookies
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.
