Which is clear with your feelings. What's wrong even if he would have said there are ferraris on the grid, including Haas cars?
Because he is insinuating that they don't deserve to be there. They are HAAS, not Ferrari. Just like he insinuates that Hamilton and Vettel's championships mean less than his, because they didn't do it, they simply had the best car.

I have zero respect for those that agrandize themselves by belittling the accomplishments of others. It's the definition of Narcissism.
Hi mate,
I agree 100% with your point of view.
It is not because Alonso is claiming that he is the best driver we have never seen in F1 that it is true.
We all remember that the rookie Hamilton defeated him in 2007.
He was crushing Honda in every grand prix and we finally discover that Honda engine was not the only problem MCLAREN was facing.
And now, if MCLAREN can not deliver and fight with the top teams, it is because of HAAS and SAUBER that are Ferrari B teams!
Unbelievable...

Lewis, on his 44 numbered car, took pole with just 44 hundredths!
Would that be predestined?

btw
50 years ago the British GP was won .....
by a driver whose profession was illegal in his home country
driving a car that had been bought for $50000 by a minor car dealer

on the TV yesterday the commentator said that driver X 'has plenny of experience driving at Silverstn'
until recently plenty of experience driving at Silverstone was the requirement

Who is the blond girl with Hamilton? Seen her quite a bit now and she always seems to be doing a very good job looking after him. Is she a trainer or a team member?
She seems to handle things in the pit garage plus his personal requirements and P.R..

In Switzerland being a racing car driver isn’t illegal, closed circuits are since Le Mans ‘55 and the ban is now still active with the exemption of EV races.

The ‘68 GP was at Brands Hatch, not Silverstone.

Looks to me more like Ferrari was running less downforce, it also looks like their power unit isn't as powerful, more like they're getting more out of the ERS.
After FP2 they`ve changed for the softer suspension setup and in FP3 there was visible no more chattering. This gives them more traction in slow speed stuff (as that diagram showed where each driver have had a minisector gain) and also they`ll have, hopefully, a better tyre management in the race.

The drawback is that they lose some top speed in the straights but that was not the main reason why Ferrari won that high speed and straights stuff on the circuit. That is due to the rumour that Ferrari, since Canada when they run that 2.0 spec PU, has now a new powerful MGU-H that gives them the ability from ERS to be deployed at maximum power - 160HP - full time in qualy and almost that figure is also in the race. That is no coincidence that since Canada there are 6 powered Ferrari cars in top 10 finishes both in qualy and the race ...

So, as f1316 said well "we should decouple ‘more powerful PU’ from ‘better deployment’" ...

Alonso was on the parade truck, wearing a KIMOA cap. That brand has no connection with McLaren, Silverstone or even F1, rather it is Alonso's personal business brand.
Is it possible that the Silverstone cirquit (or F1) allows for use as a billboard for personal business?

Has this ever been done before?

Regarding race strategy, it seems that a 1 stop could be feasible due to some luck from an SC phase early in the race ...

At least Bottas will do an S-H race to unsettle Ferrari drivers and that was also backed off by Ted on Sky after a team (which one?) analysis ...

Blistering is no issue even it`s so hot today. The only problem will have had they need to be aggressive on them in order to gain some time. And also hard tyres are prone to blistering due to harvesting more heat into them ...

Look at the amount of people packing the stadium and fields around! Awesome. Lovely little rendition of the anthem.

Thats one of my favorite things with our anthem. It makes the point, but does not rant on.

IMO the best rendition was for Diana's wedding arranged by Sir David Willcocks. It's incredible!

How will these hot temps affect Merc? Ferrari seem fine.
