As a F1 fan it was great, as a Ferrari fan (with a bit of Leclerc bias) it was not that great. I think I've made my reason clear as to why I would be upset after our best combined result of the year.IntrinsicVoid wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 17:26Like it or not the racing was the most interesting thing that the Monza audience could get. It ended up without crashes so all good. We should see more like this.
calm down man... yes he was saving tires, sai wasn't despite having really no chance against RBR. it's a race, race till the end.
I get your point. This is how I see it. They have nothing to lose but also the team should always show that they trust both of the drivers. Otherwise you can still get to the situation that one driver may think that is getting shafted. Though I don’t think I can say that drivers have the full trust in the team.scuderiabrandon wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 17:28As a F1 fan it was great, as a Ferrari fan (with a bit of Leclerc bias) it was not that great. Saving tyres whilst stuck behind his teammate in dirty air all whilst being the quicker driver?
Why would they do that?
That was absolutely clear.scuderiabrandon wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 17:49https://ibb.co/T2zKMMs
Consistently faster in both stints
This graph also shows really well that SAI's pace was pretty close to HAM's pace when he pitted despite HAM being on Hards.Xyz22 wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 17:53That was absolutely clear.scuderiabrandon wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 17:49https://ibb.co/T2zKMMs

What some people didn't realize is this

Over 1s slower (lap 19) at the end of the first stint in a track with minimal deg and 2 real corners. Even winning a race in the next 2 years is gonna be extremely difficult.
Seconds lost in those few laps after Sainz lost P2, literal pain... Such an easy double podium was right there. :'(scuderiabrandon wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 17:49https://ibb.co/T2zKMMs

Ferrari pit wall lacks competence, terrible race implementation.Vanja #66 wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 17:56Seconds lost in those few laps after Sainz lost P2, literal pain... Such an easy double podium was right there. :'(scuderiabrandon wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 17:49https://ibb.co/T2zKMMs
