I don't doubt that, it would explain why they're always locking their inside fronts under braking when they start to turn in.

Huh? The suspension is completely unloaded on both sides in this photo because the car is airborne... theres no pulling going on

The car is only completely airborn because it has a huge front roll stiffness. The other cars are just leaning like normal over the kerbs. Only Macca are "jumping" all the kerbs

Why was Jenson slower 1 s / lap at the first half of the race?
Because of didn't he drive heavy car on Friday? and he wanted to look after his tyres? or is the McLaren is so slow with full fuel tank?

He was probably saving fuel and tyres so that he could gamble on a safety car

Vettel took it easy in the end, I think the end result doesn't represent the real gap to Red Bull / Vettel.

Yes and yes. Button didn't test full fuel mode on friday, so the first 10 race laps were in fact for setup (adjusting brake balance etc.).
When he was comfortable with the car then Vettel was miles away and Button saved fuel and tyres. After SC Vettel could pull a ten second gap because of the backmarkers holding up Button and then himself turned to preserving engine mode. MCL knew that but nonetheless told Button to push. (Looking back to Canada Button managed to chase Vettel to a mistake.)
Button marked the fastest lap and Vettel wanted to get it back for his Hattrick, but his team told him not to risk his engine and victory etc. Vettel later stated that it was that tight on the finish line because he inadvertently went off throttle a bit too early.

A lot of reasons,

1. the mclaren doesnt tend to be that quick on full fuel.
2. jenson in particular allways struggles more with this, i dont know why, but if you look at the timings he's allways way behind lewis at race starts.
3. he didnt get much high fuel running that weekend either.

all put together you got that big difference.

Is that an under nose turning vane in picture 4? A la Red Bull/Ferrari.

Not sure about that one, the McLaren nose is noticeably lower then most others ....
