i have a feeling ferrari hasn't achieved a similar tight bottle neck as mclaren has. i think they still have this shape going on there:


i think a tight as possible bottle neck on the rear body is the way to go today. i mean if you look at the w05, it looks like the bodywork has been vacuum formed on the components under the bodywork. it's so tight. same thing with red bull and williams red bull had the tightest. i can't be a coincidence that these 3 teams were also the fastest. they also had nice and elegant nose designs, and their front wings were quite advanced. i don't know much about aero but these three elements are present on all the fastest cars of last year.
