Race should be yellow - white one stopper. That is the same as red - yellow one stopper from last year, they went one compound softer on the scale this year. Checo still has a set fresh yellow for maybe a 2 stopper, or late ish safety car.
Verstappen said, in the post qually press conference, that having 2 new hards it an advantage. That indicates they are at least thinking about a 2 stop.

Yeah, it is at least remarkable that he has 2 sets left. Let’s see!

Haha that's how I thought it'd be on low fuel as well! but in quali they seemed OK in those corners somehow

Its visibly getting better as fuel is getting low.

Still astonished that PER fully sent it on the first corner on lap 1, with his 10+ year experience. It wasnt like he was driving a mid field car trying to maximise his position.

Those starts were amazing. I have no comment on Perez.

Lewis is 20 pts off Perez in WDC now. Another own goal to go with Singapore, Japan and Qatar

I don't think Perez will hold off Lewis for P2.

It has been a long time since i have seen nice starts from RB. Most of the time they are OKish to slightly sub par.

Left or middle or right or twice from Pole and dude still leads the first turn. Today's starts were pretty great honestly

In other interesting news, the most points Mercedes can score for the rest of the season in the constructors is 503 points (1-2 + FL last 3 races), so Max is only now 12 points away from closing out the Constructors championship on his own with his current 491. He can do it next week with a P4 or better.

Coming into the weekend I thought it'd be close.. Turns out no stress

RB19 impressive as usual - a large advantage in laptime despite the circuit having mostly slow corners and large kerbs. Strategy also great

Last sprint race of the season next

Perez has once again buckled under pressure. I am not sure if he will ever recover from this. feel sorry for the bloke
