Schumacher fastest after FP2 narrowly pipping Hulkenburg on the chequred flag. The force india was on the soft option tyres whereas Michael and Nico didnt run the softs which bodes well. Haug confirmed both drivers wanted to "save a set of options for practice tommorow".
Correct me if im wrong but im sure there is a new rule this year stating that if both friday sessions are declared wet then an extra set of dry tyres will be issued to the team on the Saturday to encourage more running. Autosport commentary stated red bull ran a set of soft options albeit on heavy fuel so they must have known they were going to recieve another set tommorow....
....Unless FP2 was not declared wet? Or technically Mercedes and others who didnt run any options today in theory now have 2 "extra" sets of softs to run with tommorow.....can anybody shed any light?
