Guys don't forget the huge IT support that HP gives to Ferrari with it's vast resources in hardware and knowledge.
To me this is the most crucial part as IT.
Exactly that. They are more than just a sponsor, they are a tech partner.

Very useful in the modern F1 age, where computers are responsible for so much. There's a reason that other companies like AMD, Qualcomm and whatnot have also been big sponsors of F1 teams.

Does anyone find it interesting that Ferrari have both HP and IBM.

Aren't they competitors?

HP Inc. (Ferrari's sponsor) is a competitor of Dell, Lenovo, ASUS, etc. in personal computing devices, printers, etc.

HPE (Mercedes' sponsor) was spun out of HP Inc. years ago and are competitors in corporate cloud computing.

I believe IBM left the home computing market a long time ago. So i don't think they are competitors at all anymore. Even when IBM was in the market, being competitors wasn't really directly -- at least not for very long. HP's true bread and butter was (and still is) robbing people with quarter-filled, timed-locked inkjet cartridges. I forever left HP when i bought 5 cartridges, kept them in storage until i needed and discovered the very first one i needed was dead (time expired) and so were the other 4. Nice. Been non-HP laser printers ever since. Best decision i ever made on the computing side.

True. IBM sold their PC division to Lenovo and spun off their Printer division as Lexmark, so the only space they really compete is in the IT Services space with IBM Global Services vs HPE (HP Enterprise).

HPE is now a separate company from HP, so they are no longer competitors to IBM in most areas (HPE used to be a division of HP).

Philip Morris leaving is big news isn't it?

Wasn't it said that Philip Morris basically paid for the whole car and then sold space to other sponsors? Or did that stop a long time ago?

F1 is not the right platform to advertise tobacco products and it hasn't been for a couple of years now. The whole "mission winnow" bullshit was a pretty significant deal back in 2019, but beyond that, I don't think Philip Morris was a huge sponsor.

Post the tobacco era, PMI used to renew their sponsorship but "sublease" their space on the car to other brands. I guess Ferrari just cut out the middleman now, which makes sense...

Is Ferrari releasing photos of the actual car today, or do we have to wait for the run at Fiorano tomorrow?

I recently watched a Real Madrid game and they have a HP logo on their sleeves which is monochromatic I believe and it looks much better than the blue/white situation we have here

"Simulator tests of the SF-25 apparently show a gain of around 4 tenths. But the track will remain the ultimate judge. It's the driving style of the Hamilton-Leclerc duo, described as similar, which seems to have provided useful elements for development!"

Four tenths would easily have been enough to walk both championships last year. The era of 1-2s winter gains is over it seems. The true test will be whether or not Gary Anderson is disappointed; if so then there is a good chance of success
