Looks like LF could stand to have some more camber. Maybe my eyes deceive me.

Is the camber accurately noticeable when the car is cornering?? :? With lateral load and all.

The surface of the tread is noticeable.

I have no response to that, but your experience in this area is more than enough to convince me for the time being. Good eye.

Although could it be part of the set-up? Or a 'mistake'?

Like I said, could just be my eyes or the light deceiving me, but it doesn't look like the whole tread is being used at high lateral load... which I'm assuming is the case in the photo since the RF is essentially unloaded. It's a pretty subjective read of the tire, though. Could just be getting used to the new front tire geometry.

What's more interesting is that the LR almost looks like it's at positive camber.. though the whole tread is a pretty uniform color.

As for the avatar.. I work for one of their competitors!

Lada sponsorship on the Renault
Details are in the link. But the cut and thrust of it is. Lada are on the car because of a sponsor deal with Lada's parent company.

First marussia. Now Lada. And is it just me or does that R30 in the photo have a tighter ass than the real one in the testing

R30 upgrades during Winter testing

1.Modified front Wing compared to launch spec ( Valencia )
2.A small set of bargeboards was added behind the under nose skirts ( Valencia )
3.Completely new W shaped rear wing ( Valencia )
4.Tiny changes to the rear wing ( Jerez )

I think it's photoshopped R29.

The photoshopped image does have some interesting details. The rear suspension's pushrod is something that looks feasible and beneficial. Allowing for very tight rear as well as a lot of room for the DD.
