has the same issues as red bull. slower on entry into corners. not good at riding curbs. weak front end so compensate by adding more to the rear which makes the car unstable

Alonso said they are happy with hungary upgrades and the correlations with wind tunnel was great comparing the old upgrades and now they can add more downforce without fear of lose the way. So i hope this is genuine feeling and not just a robotic answear. Praying to best after summer break

Impossible, they wouldn't left any money from the cost cap since the 3 best salary count as well. 100m maybe but not for 1 year but 3 or 4.

im pretty sure wherever newey goes he will be one of the 3 people that are not included under the cost cap. and it states that the 100m is over 4 years.

i dont know if this is old or what, but some news outlet reported this 100 million offer over a month ago. this may be just rehashed news

Technically, it shouldn't. Yet the teams that partake in these tests usually have an improved period shortly after.

These cars gather a ton of data even without special attachments. It's like 2 days in the windtunnel. Plus it's after a race where you might find new things you want to test.

Could be corporate speak or whatever, because he added yesterday that they will use FP1 and FP2 once again for tests to learn more about the updates.

Maybe it's because we all saw what happenend since Canada 2023 and are over suspicious, but do I really need to sacrifice further FP sessions for tests if updates work as expected?! Mmmm....

Update guesses are a lower DF rear wing (what the team already revealed before Hungary) and a lower DF beam wing.

I think after Krack leaving to Audi , Alonso should be promoted to TP/lead driver role.

I can't understand why they should to use Fp1-2 to learn about upgrades? I mean how they make those upgrades if they don't understand or can make it work? How they prepare at simulator if they don't know the car? To understand the upgrades there is for the simulator and simulations. They can test parts or check air flows to confirm the match with the wind tunnel or simulations,but that's all. Look at Redbull,lot if new upgrades sidepods, floor etcetera and after FP1 Marko talked black and white about their upgrades and how is works. Aston do the same for half of the season.
