Maybe it depends on your definition of radiator. A heat sink could be considered a "radiator" so perhaps it isn't quite that extreme.
I think we had a discussion somewhere else about whether they could use the Meredith effect, but I forget the analysis.
yes it's probably an engineer giving the media guy some wow factor isn't it, but it probably is basically a true message that it's quite a lot of radiators. You'd think the Meredith effect would steer them towards one or two big radiators, in principle, but they must only add 30 degrees or something to the air temperature compared to 1000 for an actual jet engine, so i'm guessing they wouldn't sacrifice other factors for it like drag or lift. still, if it was free...
