New standing start? Any bets on another safety car after the restart?
Masi will have a huge hard on for doing more FOR THE SPECTACLE (tm) so definitely a standing start. Rinse repeat until no cars are left. Farce of a race but if one of his relatives rigns him up to tell him it made great television he'll deem it a job well done.

You can tell I'm a fan...

Spare a thought for the Stewards... they were probably well into thinking about the incidents on Lap 1, and now all this they got to sort out. They might not be leaving until the next morning!

Love the intensity in Bottas' eyes on that on board shot.

The SC has turned off the lights too late. I think he turned them off in the last corner, therefore Bottas couldn't leave a gap between himself and the SC to accelerate earlier. The SC is unpresentable.

are radio coms allowed during safety-car-restart process? why they don't have spotters looking from "above" and talking to drivers to let them know what is going on?

Jesus, that was really dangerous and could have ended really ugly. Glad everyone involved is okay.

I also think giving the signal that the race was on on that left was really late.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

It will be interesting to see if Lewis can redeem himself after his initial bad start!
