If they were allowed to make changes half the pitlane would now be fitting bigger rear wings. As nobody is doing anything it probably means no changes are allowed.

It’s not a massive shame it’s a procession and not a race. I actually turned this on to watch car racing not slot cars.
The conditions are awful, they can’t see. Max was even saying he was struggling to see the SC.
Verstappen said he was fine to go.
Of course he did. He would have had nothing ahead of him and great vision. 19 other drivers would completely disagree. Also he knows that if only a few laps are run behind the car it’s some points in the bank. He’s the only driver with any incentive to want the race to start under these conditions.

As others have said are the cars now out of parc ferme?
I thought they were, but there is the thing that the race hasn’t started yet.
Maybe so but if there is a chance you know Mercedes will be all over it.

Masi said no.

I am totally with you though, in that I’d ideally want the conditions to clean up enough for a standing start.

Masi is doing his job - trying to not allow Perez to rejoin. But since the race has not started...

Max also said on the radio that he was dropping back as he couldn’t see the safety car…

Red Bull trying to persuade Masi into letting Perez into the race.

Arguing semantics.

Would be hilarious if Perez started here. This forum would catch fire.

So they stay overnight then it rains all of tomorrow what happens then?. Seriously as soon s the humidity drops significantly say below 80 or 70% they must start the race. Wet track or not.
