Did Vettel just hit the boost button??? Where did that 1 sec per lap come from!

Fred says oops.

Hamilton is lucky not to have a puncture.

More interestingly, Massa is ahead of Alonso with Webber between them.

The why use em in 2 stints? :?:
I think his first hard tyres lasted less than the softs lol.

Well Fernando really needs to cut out those silly mistakes especially after what happened last season...

Something is wrong with Lewis' car I think... his pace has just dropped off a cliff since switching to the hard tyres - he's at least a second off where you'd expect his pace to be.

The softs are worth around 1 second per lap so there's the loss, but it is the same for eveyone with the current tyre rules.

Heidfeld 3rd - nice one!!

Are you sure it's not just the hard tyres sucking?
Yup he just pitted again.

Everyone else seems fine on them. Hamilton was struggling for pace on them from the first couple of laps onwards... It's all gone wrong for him.

Petrov just took off, broke the steering column and is out.

Now Heidfeld's tyres are gone.

Bloody Pirellis!

In fact since pitting and knowing the tyres only have to last 3 laps, he's still not quicker than the front runners... What's going on with that McLaren!?
