Crofty, Karun and Brundle are saying from what they are hearing, the Spec 4 is apparently significantly more powerful than the Spec 3, and is on par with Mercedes. They eagerly anticipate being able to see the Spec used in anger in qualifying. This unlikely here as Alex is starting from the back.

Max peace was at least equal or better than Bottas peace, but Hamilton is differently quicker.
don't forget that Max complains about the engine (probably spec 1 or 2).
I think with the Spec 3 he will be in a better position tomorrow. So no way they will switch engine.

I hope he was running detuned for his first day of running, in a new car, with a new PU; how was his race pace, that to me would be interesting to see, as it's where Gasly failed to show to at least make up for the bad Saturdays.
