Seeing Alonso fighting for 9th position, with the Williams appearing even faster, is a shame. A 10 seater car after the start of last year, stuff to turn off the television for the whole season.

He is racing Albon and Ocon for P9. He had fresh tyre and overtook hulkenberg easy. So far excellent race, cannot do better.

Nope it is the Mercs Engine. He is getting the DRS to stay ahead of the Apline as they are fast on the fresh hard tyre.

There were two laps where Alonso closed to Ricciardo 0.5, when Ricciardo had no DRS. Car is so slow on the straight that he couldn't go for an overtake.Now, he's stuck behind him. Very annoying°

ALO is struggling a lot on the hards obviously now. STR drove about half a sec faster in some laps until he got caught behind BOT.

Or he is 1-stopping?
