Well, 366 was recorded at the start/finish line. There's still some track left up to turn 1. But 10 kmh difference? Seems a bit too muchdiego.liv wrote:https://twitter.com/TomClarksonF1/statu ... 7729923076
Fun, fast and unforgiving racetrack in Baku. In-car data from @ValtteriBottas recorded him at 376km/h (234mph). Yow! #bbcf1 #F1
How is it possible to miss 10 kmh?? If true, new f1 speed record!!
I honestly don't get this.F1NAC wrote:Hamilton will recieve another set

Have you not watched this season??DiogoBrand wrote:Considering this years' form, it's way more likely for Hamilton to do a big cock-up than Rosberg. Lewis is yet to show this season how superior he is to Nico.
Why don't they have just obliged him to change the tyre after the first lap?F1NAC wrote:Hamilton will recieve another set

I don't get it why it's suddenly a problem? Have people never flat spotted their race tires in the past? How about the red bull fiasco in spa 2011 when they blistered their tires in Q3 and fia forced them to start on them anyway.morefirejules08 wrote:Safety?Juzh wrote:
What? Anybody who flatspots tyres in lap 1 on raceday has to pit earlierer...simple as that. I don't understand why a driver get a "free" pit stop for flat spotted tyres during Q.F1NAC wrote:Hamilton will recieve another set

Mercedes like for like would probably still be in front, but non-merc pu cars are clearly running visibly less downforce.FoxHound wrote:0.4 seconds in the last sector Juzh...Juzh wrote:Just drop this track limits nonsense.NYGIANTS wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqQJh-kDtRk
bottas and ricciardo went over on Q3, daniel definitely more like nico's lap.
Quite a bit I agree.
But this is the longest straight on the calendar, if you factor that the 2 corners prior are flat.
That can be made up in other areas, yet we don't see it in the other sectors.
