It's probably more about the bargeboards and floor being optimised for the old nose. The nose is the first part of an overall upgrade package that they are currently accessing. If they are seeing the nose is corelating to wind tunnel data then they can commit to producing the other parts.

Exactly. The nose needs to be homologated by Wednesday I believe, so they need to make sure the gathered data is as solid as possible. Looks like it's working well with the existing package, but the key point is it opens up greater potential for future development.
