Well 5 to 6 tenths is if you manage to make them work. Considering how much faster is Mclaren compared to Torro Rosso we could have made quicker times.

According to Toto Mclaren are ahead in quali and race pace by ‘a chunk’
No doubt it’s just mind games
Ahead of Mercedes? I would be surprised if they weren't.
Of everyone he said.

If there really is a 6 tenths difference between mediums and softs (I doubt that, but they said that is the case) - Ferrari's will be mighty.
According to data on Friday Mediums seems faster than Soft, so a strange situation like was in Miami on Friday when Lando's time on Mediums in SQ2 was fastest than Max Pole on Soft in SQ3. Let's see if this is the case and the difference between M and S is 0.5-0.6 or a lot smaller.

Are the cars generating too much downforce for the tyres now?
I’m not saying they aren’t safe but just struggling from a performance point of view

That was not good for Oscar, impeding Magnussen. Bad decision from McL to sent them on track. Useless.
If KMag was in Q2, Ham was out...offff OSC...

Indeed. They left too late and couldn't make a lap even if they needed one.

Ouch. That might cost him cause Magnussen didn't make it to Q2. Hopefully Im praying for just a fine.

Out of curiosity. Didn't Ferrari brought a huge upgrade package here or did they brought only half of the upgrades?
They brought an upgrade but not a "spec B" type of update like McLaren.

Was Oscar on a flying lap when he blocked MAG?

No. They pulled out of the box, got stuck in pits waiting to leave the pits and then when they left it was quite late - during that time they realized they are safe so told the guys to box.

But apparently they didn't inform Piastri that MAG was on a hot lap.

This may be one of the elements. Track temperature, wind direction, setup. We'll see now in Q2 Ferrari time on soft vs their Medium times (1:15:823 for LEC).

What happened happened. Both drivers must give it their all to get the 1-2 in case Oscar gets penalised.

1:15:328 for LEC, so -0.5 vs Mediums. But also Max, Tsu and Oscar are way below Q1 times. Not a good lap for Lando.

Scrappy lap but pulled out good S3. That's his challenge, nail all three sectors.
