Isn't Ferrari great in the slow corners?
They're having to run their largest rear wing with the Monaco beamwing which could cause understeer for them in the slow speed

I think also a lot of performance of sf23 comes from efficiency which isn't relevant here
They have understeer in high speed. Their mechanical grip and traction is good, like in Singapore
At Singapore they didn't run the maximum downforce beamwing. At Mexico at least on Thursday the full on Monaco beamwing was used which hasn't been seen since then.

I think the understeer was not only in the high speed at tracks like Monaco and Zandvoort.

The appearance of max RW bodes well compared to last year's pace, so both the PU and downforce levels should be a step up from last year. There won't be any miracles, but at least they won't be a limping duo the entire race...
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Leclerc said the new floor introduced in Suzuka allowed him to set up the car a bit more to his liking (stronger front). How do you think they were able to achieve that?

There was an explanation from Italian media that the team at one point started setting up both cars with understeer due to sudden snaps in corners when the car is set up in other ways. This allowed them to improve in the races, but Leclerc didn't like it. The snaps came from diffuser instability, so improving the diffuser flow stability in corners could allow Leclerc to set the car up more towards his preference. Possibly, we can only speculate...

Ferrari will use a brake disc spec from 2022 for better ventilation. Wider gills to let the PU breathe (update only for cooling) and, barring unforeseen circumstances, no new unit will be fitted

the article says that Leclerc is a bit worse off than Sainz.

No idea what parts exactly were used at which grand prix, of course, but going by the introduction of new units every six races so far, I guess it'll need another one soon:

He introduced his 3rd CE @ Saudi Arabia and the 1st and 2nd CE units were both lost at Bahrain, right? It could be possible his 3rd CE has therefore done 16 races

Leclerc added a 4th CE when he started from pit lane in Barcelona. So in that regard, he normally should be in a better state than Sainz, who got his 2nd (of 2) in Miami.

needed to have another look as well. Everything else was added in sync with each other, so no idea why exactly there's apparently more of a problem for Leclerc

Yeah if they change the PU they'll do it for both Sainz and Lec.

For FP1 Ferrari can use the Hungary spec engine cover/ louvres (less draggy)

It was just said by the commentary team during FP1 that Leclerc and Hamilton were originally checked based on some data that the FIA had. What data that was wasn't specified.

It was then stated that Norris and Verstappen were checked after but it wasn't stated if they were checked based on data or based on them being the next best performing car/driver.

If Ferrari isn't using a lower PU mode there is still a huge difference in terms of drag between RB and Ferrari when they use similar wings.
