Yeah, a friend of mine suggested this also. But the problem with those kind of tests are that you don't get lift or drag data. And if the goal is to make a comparison between the drag created when the wing is open or closed you don't gain much.
But the project is finished and I got a 16/20 for it. I'm not happy with the score I got, but I'm very proud of my accomplishment regarding the project.
