Ok well, I guess the Alpine is not going to be blue now…

Williams is probably gonna be really fast this year. I mean, their car looks exactly the same as Red Bull's, so at least they got the aero right.

Finally LCD display on the steering wheel, not monocoque.

After the issues last season releasing a CAD model of their car online, I'm not surprised they stuck to giving the marketing guys the blueprints to the she Showcar tbh.

Don't think it is a bad livery at all, the initial render looked terrible, but the other angles look really good. It will be really down to the lighting conditions on the track I guess.
Nice to see they have finally updated the steering wheel also.

Can't help but post this, not meant in bad way, that livery was the best bit of that car! Also, now I know why the Williams nose gave me nostalgia

There isn't a Senna logo on the car, Virginia's butterfly logo...nor something for Frank. Williams in name but the history and tradition has gone.

They explained that they removed the Senna logo because they didn't want the drivers to see it every single time they got in the car, and it was time to move on. I think that's a fair explanation.

This team needs sponsors and quick… what have they been doing all winter? On an upward trend and one new sponsor? Not a good thing if you ask me.

As a Brazilian and Senna fan, I don't think it made too much sense.

I'm keen to hear about people's logical opinions about Latifi vs Albon and who will become team leader this year.

Latifi seems to think he can become that... But what do others think?
I think they will be about equal, neither driver seems to have a big ego, so they should work together nicely. :)

Re: Livery. With no BWT (not that this was a serious rumour but with the link between BWT & Mercedes it would make sense), the lack of sponsors is a bit concerning. The livery looks great! =D> But there just aren't very many sponsors on it. :|

It reminds me more of the FW14. I do love that rounded top surface to the nose, it's very pretty.

Tony Quinn (gentleman racer & circuit owner in NZ/Australia) owns one of those Simteks now, a very pretty car too. When he brought it to the Adelaide historic event, his crew couldn't actually get it to run, lol. It just sat in the paddock with some kind of electrical issue IIRC.
