As an Australian living in Germany, I think I will be in the middle of it all.

I think I will just stay home all weekend

Don't forget Germany vs Australia on F1T, right Chap?!

True.. let's hope this World Cup is the start of a turn-around for Bafana. The Boks were in the absolute pits back in 2003 and recovered to win the World Cup in 2007.

2003 was a young squad that developed on the world stage. Its 2003 that made us win 2007. :D
I agree a good tourny for us would be a great thing for us. The Malema problems have created a bit of an issue......

So you are friendly neighbours? Its a bit like Eurovision when countries give max points to their neighbour, especially if they have been at war recently.

Meanwhile in the UK, you'll find Scots, Welsh & Irish supporting anyone who plays against England.

And so it ends 1-1... Well done, I thought we had the beating of you after that first goal.

Thanks, RSA played very well and I'm surprised we didn't loose, especially after the short range attempt late in the second half when the ball hit the pole. Marquez really saved our day with his goal though!

Had it not been for someone calling me on the phone I wouldn't have woken up in time, even though I only saw the second half.

Englands hopes for the world cup...

Wouldnt fancy being Robert tomorrow myself! In all fairness the bloody BBC and british press hype england up every time, which only puts more pressure on the team which leads to nervous howlers like this. Its theyre own doing in my opinion!

Credit to the USA too, they played well as a team unlike the bunch of individuals they were up against.

For the record im supporting Argentina :)

So with 1:1 the US boys are still in the tournament. England will probably be not so pleased with the result.
