My thoughts too, it actually looks like it's on backwards as well.

Thats good that he his breathing on his own. If he wasnt id be truly worried. I still feel massa's accident was much worse than this one.

Any how this race was a classic wet race. The championship battle with the mercs was great.
Hamilton kept control of the gap from the statt anf took care of the tyres by driving in rosbergs line.you could see that he was badically pressuring rosnerg to go fast and either make an error or wear out his tyres. The overtake, the approach, the hunting down was stuff of the greats. Exting the lead to 10s in no time also showed that rosberg was simply outgunned

They probably know it already.

Why are people taking about the 130R? Wasn't the crash at the Dunlop curve?

Why was the fia being bullied by honda over this race anyway. Some drivers wanted to start ealier and twice the fia asked honda and they said no. The fia obviously felt it was a valid argument. They should of been a lot stronger and give honda the option start earlier or not at all. Weak.

Why did Ferrari bully them for all those years?

Is lack of downforce a factor here? Both Sauber and Marussia don't have the best downforce this season. Other cars with better DF didn't aquaplane.

How much earlier could they have started the race. If it wasn't for Bianchi losing control and crashing into the crane, we likely would have finished it.

Hamilton really turning the screw on Rosberg during the races now. I think he just focuses on the race during all the practices and doesn't bother with qualifying. He knows that if he does a decent lap he will either be 1st or 2nd on the pure pace of the car.

I really hope that the surgery was just to remove pressure on the brain from a heavy impact, once the swelling goes down the recovery is usually quite quick, though I don't expect him back in the car for quite some time.

You guys are dead right to blame the FIA, but not for the reason you're citing.

What should have happened is that the FIA should have required Suzuka to increase the size of its runoff areas, and make sure that there was a large area of tarmac to decelerate on.

The unfortunate consequence I have to admit would likely be that Suzuka would say "but, there's no room, we can't", and the FIA should have responded with "okay, fine, no race for you".

The distance from track to scene of accident here is the number 1 factor.

Well it was the first green after the scene of the accident, isn't that normal?

Slowing down suffiently at double yellows is the solution. These guys are paid big bucks, they know it's a high risk job and so they need to be fully responsible for their own safety. There's only so much that the fia can do. I think the measures in place are sufficient apart from looking into more detail thr deployment of tge tractor, everything else should rest on the driver when it comes to safe conduct on track and duting yellow flags.

Then the FIA are to blame for employing him.

Just drop the CW thing until we know the cause of the accident. I dont get why your so sour towards him.

With the rain at the start they would have had to start much earlier. Telling tens of thousands spectators that you'll start the race a couple of hours early knowing they have train ticket that won't let them get to the track to see the races is a tough call.
