He was at 5.3 on the last lap, that's not exactly so far out it was worth pitting him 2 laps before.

Mercedes will dethrone themselves at this rate. They had the fastest car in race pace.

Add in not fully developing this years car out of overconfidence and it's a recipe for disaster.

I just don’t understand why they didn’t put Lewis on lap 43, he would have hunted max down no problem
