All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

This engine looks very similar or exactly the same as in the presskit from June?

The vertical box on the front is the oil tank is it not?

Oil tank at the front yes.

And that airbox is meant to connect with an intercooler which will probably be situated in the sidepod. That's why is has that angle.

That draped Ferrari engine so looks like a miniature elephant to me, with swept ears and a little tusk prodding out the front. I always did think a bit sideways ...

2014 FIA Sporting Regulations outline
“For the purposes of this Article 28.4 the power unit will be deemed to comprise six separate elements, the engine (ICE), the motor generator unit – kinetic (MGU – K), the motor generator unit – heat (MGU – H), the energy store (ES), turbocharger (TC) and control electronics (CE). Each driver will therefore be permitted to use five of each of the above six components during a Championship season and any combination of them may be fitted to a car at any one time.

“Should a driver use more than five of any one of the elements a grid place penalty will be imposed upon him at the first Event during which each additional element is used.”

That's a changed from before isn't it? Before wasn't any change on another of the components of the power unit deemed a change in the power unit, and you only had 5 of those changes?
